RF Component Engineer
Seeking full-time RF Component Engineer. Duties and responsibilities include: setting up Network Analyzers for production use; helping customers with components selection; helping quote estimators with technical RF/Microwave customers requirements and performing required prototyping and testing. Qualifications include: College Degree in Electrical Engineering; 5 to 10 years of working experience in RF/Microwave field; working knowledge of Network Analyzers; Antenna design and its theoretical knowledge preferred; and theoretical and practical knowledge of RF/Microwave transmission line. Must comply with ITAR regulations 22 C.F.R. 120.15 U.S. Persons.
Entry-Level Design Engineer
Candidate will be responsible for new and existing connector design, customer interface, working with vendors, preparing Engineering cost work-ups, preparing Engineering drawings, completing Engineering Change Orders and entering and maintaining Bill of Materials and Routings in MRP system. Qualifications include: BMSE Degree; working knowledge of Office Applications in Windows environment and working AutoCad Mechanical or similar experience. Provided we are a military manufacturer, candidate must comply with ITAR regulations 22. C.F.R. 120.15 U.S. Persons.

RF Design Engineer
The RF Design Engineer is responsible for creating new and modified RF/Microwave product designs, including evaluation of mechanical components with electrical performance requirements. This employee is subject to supervision by and reports directly to the Engineering Manager. Qualifications include: BS/BA electrical or mechanical engineering degree; Minimum 5 years experience in a design engineering environment; Minimum 3 years experience in RF design of passive components; Ability to manage multiple projects; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Driven to exceed goals and objectives; CAD experience necessary, AutoCAD experience a plus. Duties and responsibilities include: Designs mechanical/electrical RF components for new or redesigned products; Operates AutoCAD System and associated tolls to generate computer files for use in manufacturing and support of manufacturing and sales; prepares test programs for new or redesigned components; Assists in the interpretation of test program results; Assists in the determination of the specifications of components for new or redesigned products; Keeps abreast of new developments in design and applications in the industry; Assists quality control in setting up inspection procedures; Assists in the interpretations of research and test reports from both inside and outside the company; Assist the product engineering sections in the areas of testing operations and technical engineering; Work with personnel of the Engineering Department in matters pertaining to connector component problems; Work with personnel of the Quality Department in the development of inspection procedures and use of test equipment for receiving; Perform special tasks as assigned.
Engineering Manager
The Engineering Manager is responsible for effective planning, directing, and coordinating of all activities within the Design Engineering Department. Supervises the personnel and functions of the Engineering Department. This employee is subject to supervision by and reports directly to the Vice President. Qualifications include: BA/BS degree in a technical discipline; Minimum of 5 years experience in engineering; Minimum of 2 years experience in engineering management; Excellent project management skills; Ability to manage multiple projects both inside and outside the company; Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills; Driven to exceed goals and objectives; RF design experience a major plus. Duties and responsibilities include: Coordinates and reviews all new and existing design projects and assigns them to appropriate engineer; Coordinates all engineering releases and changes relative to manufacturing; Develops processes, methods, tooling, and production controls for new design programs and supervises their assembly and proofing; Conducts design reviews on all new engineering releases; Develops outside design sources and assigns projects to them as appropriate; Ensures that all work leaving the Engineering department is correct and ready for production. All documentation, including process sheets, drawings, BOM, routings, and tool drawings, are completed and have been released to the floor; Maintains strong communications with all departments within the company; Works closely with engineering departments in other group companies; Takes responsibility for personally completing design projects as necessary; Stays informed concerning new manufacturing technology equipment and investigates their potential applications. Recommends incorporation of new technology for company applications where feasible and practical; Hires, evaluates, and reviews all personnel in his/her department; Identifies, analyzes, and implements design engineering system improvements; Fosters an environment of positive employee relations with open communication channels and employee involvement.
